End of Summer Food Truck Festival

Our Bags ‘N Bites Food Truck Rally and Cornhole Tournament has evolved! We’ve partnered with GR Loves Food Trucks to bring the “End of Summer Truck Festival” to Kentwood! With over 30 food trucks, live music, and a cornhole tournament this event is sure to be fun for the whole family.

SouthKent Community Expo

This free, four hour event is open to the public and includes a business expo with nearly 100 businesses and an expo taste featuring cuisine from dozens of restaurants and stores. Learn who's hiring and apply for jobs with local businesses at the expo. There will also be a cultural exhibit showcasing the music, art, and talent within the community as well as many family friendly activities. Presented by the City of Kentwood, Cutlerville-Gaines Area Chamber of Commerce, Kentwood Public Schools, and the Wyoming-Kentwood Area Chamber of Commerce. Trunk or Treat

Kentwood Parks and Recreation has put a fun spin on traditional Trick or Treating! We are excited to bring back Trunk or Treat again this year! This event is designed to give community members a safe and fun environment to trick or treat in. Held at the Kentwood Public Works facility at 5068 Breton SE, kids can dress up in their favorite costume and collect treats from a number of decorated trunks. Ugly Sweater Cross Country 5k

Lace up your running shoes and grab the ugliest sweater you can find and join us for the first annual Ugly Sweater Cross Country 5K! Taking place at Stormy Creek Golf Course, participants will get to explore a fun, curvy, cross country course. Vote for the ugliest sweater! Awards for runners and best dressed.
